Make More to Give More

MAKE MORE TO GIVE MORE is a motto in one of my business mentoring groups. 

Whether the motto means make moreto donate to important causes that are meaningful to you OR create more in your schedule to personally help others succeed, it is a motto that inspires me. 

This weekend, I had the opportunity to support a Search and Rescue Exercise for one of my favorite nonprofits, Civil Air Patrol. 

We trained new ground team members on how to successfully find lost hikers in the wilderness as a team on the ground and as a team with aircrew. 

It was a wonderful weekend creating positive teamwork experiences while preparing for a real mission! 

There is a lot of talk on the importance of self-care but community-care is just as important. 

Creating opportunities to give back whether that is with your money or your time always enhances your well-being because it supports people and causes that align with your values.
